We do not have to earn our crown. It has been gifted to us through a promise. Romans 8:16-Nineteen
I saved the life of my mother's murder.
I will never forget standing in the court as our attorney ask me question after question to prepare me to stand trial. But this one question that he asked will remain with me for the rest of my life. He asked me "This is up to you, would you want him to spend the rest of his life in jail or face death. He explained to me what both meant and then he ask me "What's my choice?" With all that we had been through, I was still trying to process what had happen. I am a twelve girl little girl who just witnessed her mom's murder and now, her murder's life is in my hands. My mind moved to her and I thought about what she would want me to choose. I was not move my anger nor did I have anyone around me to influence me to make the choice. Then I give her an answer, an answer that came purely from my heart, I said," I would like for him to spend the rest of his life behind bars because killing him won't bring her back."

Keeping Prosperity in Perspective
If your wealth increases, don't make it the center of your life. Psalm 62:Ten
In the demanding world in which we live, financial prosperity can be a good thing, but spiritual prosperity is profoundly more important. Yet, our society leads us to believe otherwise. The world glorifies material possessions, personal fame and physical beauty above all else; these things, of course, are totally unimportant to God. God sees the human heart, and that's what is important to Him.
As you establish your priorities for the coming day, remember this: The world will do everything it can to convince you that "things" are important. The world will tempt you to value fortune above faith and possessions above peace. God, on the other hand, will try to convince you that your relationship with Him is all-important........Trust God!

Keeping Up With Appearances
Man does not see what the Lord sees, for man sees what is visible, but the Lord sees the heart.
1 Samuel 16:Seven
The world sees you as you appear to be; God sees you as you really are. He sees your heart, and He understands your intentions. The opinions of others should be relatively unimportant to you; however, God's view of you-His understanding of you actions, your thoughts and your motivations - should be vitally important.
Few things in life are more futile than "keeping up appearances" in order to impress others. Social media would have you believe that everything depends on the color of your skin, how you dress or your living conditions. But non of this is really important. What's truly important is how we are living for God and that our intentions are pure and reflect His nature. There is nothing going on outside of us that makes us important to God. God is not impress by what we do. He's impress by who we are and who we are becoming. And when we choose to live our lives from the heart level, we can bring change to what surrounds us.
The best gift in life is to remove who the world defines you as and become the person God always said you were.
Today's heirvotional question.
Can you see yourself the way God sees you?

If I Don't Need it,Then Nobody Else Does.
Paul said that he learned to be all things to all people in an effort to win them to Christ
(1 Corin 9:19-Twenty-two) He adapted to his surrounding rather than expecting everything and everyone to adapt to him.
We tend to think that if we don't need something then nobody does.
Everyone is fine with how things are until they have to change or adjust themselves for someone else. This is the true spirit of giving as long as everyone is doing what you want them to do then everything is fine. But when we have to change to meet someone else's needs their should not be a problem.
Many relationship fail because we don't make an effort to give each other what he or she needs. We tend to think that if we don't need something then nobody else does.

God's Perspective
He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths. Isaiah 2:Three (NKJV)
For most of us, life is busy and complicated. Amid the rush and crush of the daily grind, it is easy to lose perspective......easy, but wrong. When our world seems to regain perspective by slowing ourselves down and them turning out thoughts and prayers toward God.
The familiar words of Psalm 46:Ten reminds us to "Be still, and know that I am God. When we do so, we encounter the awesome presence of our Creator, we rob ourselves of His perspective, His peace, and His joy.
Today and every day, set aside a time to be still before God. When you do,you can face the day's complications with the wisdom and power that only He can provide.
Sometimes we need a birds-eye view of what God sees about our lives. If we could just see what He sees we might lighten up a little bit. - Dennis Swanberg.

My Personal Relationship with God. My Testimony | My Influence
I am
Wife
Mommy of 2
Bible Teacher | Faith University Bible-study workshop
Influencer
This is my influence.
In the beginning...... I have not always had a personal relationship with God. All I knew about God was Sunday morning church service, cute dresses, white church shoes and pantyhose (we called them stocking) that I could not wait to take off when church was over. I attended our family church with my mom and my two sisters. This was before the cool days of children’s church so for me church was B-O-R-I-N-G!!!! My memories of church are receiving the death stare or the secret pinch (that pinch that took your breath away and made tears form in your eyes) from my mom, grandmother and great-grandmother because my sisters and I were playing with each other during the sermon instead of paying attention. Or a gentle nudge from my mom because my sister and I had fallen asleep. I have some good memories also like when my Grandma Queen would sneak and give my sister and I peppermints and gum from her purse to keep us quiet and occupied. I learned how to sing “Yes, Jesus loves me!” and how to be the best at hunting for Easter eggs. I learned how to recite poems and speeches for the Easter and Christmas programs. I learned how to pray before I eat and went to bed at night. I was aware of God and sensed that God was important in my life. But why? It took a tragedy to lead me to discover the answer to this question.
On July 11, 1997 I witnessed the homicide of my mother at the age of 11. And this was the start of me questioning everything. If God loved me so much, then how could this happen? There was a time in my life were I blamed ruled my life. I blamed God, my mother's murderer, myself, my mother, my father, and anybody that I could. Why did my mother have to died? Why do I have to grow up without her? All I had was questions, blame and confusion. I did not know how to process the fact that my mom would longer be with me. But in my confusion I did not turn my back on God. I stilled sensed that He was important. But why? I still had not clue. But I started to have this feeling that I would find out way.
Entering my teenage years, Children’s church is now establish and going to church became trendy and wearing W.W.J.D (what would Jesus do) bracelets were cool. I still said my prayers before bed and grace before I ate. But my relationship with God was not yet personal, more cordial. It was like a- I see Jesus and wave hi so He would know that I’m present -in the distances type of relationship.
Years go by, I knew how to pray when I was in trouble or when I needed a blessing. I started to learn what God could do for me, but I was missing the piece of what I could do for Him.
Years later, and I meet my husband. I will never forget the moment when I saw him kneeling beside our bed. I thought to myself “maybe he’s looking for his shoe under the bed.” So I asked him “What are you doing?” He said, “ I ‘m praying, would you like to join?” Through his relationship with God. I was reminded of how I used to pray to God when I was a little girl. After that I started to seek God more.
My Fix me Jesus moment. I decide to give my life to Christ, one Sunday morning at church while the tears flow down my face after listening to I trust you by James Fortune. (No one told me it would get worst before it gets better) In 2009, God sat me down for what I call “My fix me Jesus" moment. I was fired from my job and unemployed for one whole year. During that time God supplied all of my family’s needs while He and I became more personal. Where I met God was in the living room of my 2 bed room apartment on my couch with my husband laying next to me. God had my full attention. In my daily routine. I would make sure my husband and two children were prepared for the day. Then I would surround myself with God’s word. I would have my Bible, colorful pens, and a composition notebook, yogurt and a chewy granola bar. I fell in love with the Word of God so much that I started to carry my Bible anywhere I went ( This is a routine that I still do to this day).
Through my fix me Jesus moment, I was able to reflect, grow and let go. I start to learn why God is so important. Through everything that I had been through I look back and see how God had protected and cared for me, that He had always been there even when I wasn’t. When I was the bored little church girl, to my W.W.J.D days, to placing my husband on my path that brought me back to Him. God has and continues to reveal to me the true definition of His unconditional love. He has shown me His character and taught me that I am created in His likeness and image. I’ve learned that I am an individualize expression of Him possessing unique talents and abilities that no one else has. And that I am clothe with righteousness, called to be an heir, an ambassador who’s purpose is to advance His kingdom while also influencing others to do the same.
Because of my experience with God I decided to start a ministry. I want to share God’s love with others and advance His kingdom. My personal goal for my ministry is to pour my life into others by encouraging them to overcome their personal obstacles and reach their God-given potential. To encourage you to become the person God has destine them to be.
I hope that by reading my testimony, it helps you to seek a deeper more personal relationship with God.
There’s no wrong way to seek God. If you are seeking Him, He will find you.

Spiritual Maturity, Day by Day
When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reason as a child does. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. 1 Corinthians 13:Eleven (NLT)
The path to spiritual maturity unfolds day by day. Each day offers the opportunity to worship God, to ignore God, or to rebel against God. When we worship Him with our prayers, our words, our thoughts, and our actions, we are blessed by the richness of our relationship with the Father. But if we ignore God altogether of intentionally rebel against His commandments, we rob ourselves of His blessings.
Today offers yet another opportunity for spiritual growth. If you choose, you can seize that opportunity by obeying God's Word, by seeking His will, and by walking with His Son.
God's goal is that we move towards maturity - all our past failures and faults notwithstanding.
- Charles Swindoll

You Are Covered
The LORD then said to Noah, "Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation. Genesis 7:One
There was a time when Noah was the only righteous man to walk upon the earth. He dwelled among the wicked but did not lose his righteousness. Noah was the only man whom found grace in the eyes of the Lord (Genesis 6:Eight). And because of Noah's righteousness that God covered him and did not completely destroy mankind. Noah was amongst the wicked everyday. He lived among them, ate among them, and worked among them. His environment was consisted of corruption and evil.
The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great that every imagination and intention of all human thinking was only evil continually. Genesis 6:Five.
But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Genesis6:Eight
Even thought wickedness surrounded Noah, He chose to focus on God.
Not one time in the Bible does it say Noah prayed to God,
Dear, God, This is Noah, I know you ask me to build the ark, but the wicked people keep distracting me. Can you please remove them? It's hard to be righteous among all this ratchness. I just want to focus on building the Ark. Sealing this prayer with a thank you because I know it's already done, Amen.
Noah was not outer focus. He did not focus on the people or circumstances around him. He was inner reflective. He chose to focus on God. His faith in God did not wavier because of his surrounding. Noah walked with God (Genesis 6:Nine) And because of his walk with God, he became covered by Him. Through his relationship with God, Noah became God's friend. And when he became God's friend, He give him insight to His secrets. He let Noah know that He was destroying the world and give him a blueprint on how to build an ark. And Due to Noah's faith, mankind was not completely destroyed.
When you choose to become a friend of God, you can walk among the wicked and know that God has you protected. Choose to stay focus on Him and His plan for you, become like Noah (righteous in this generation), knowing that GOD'S HAS YOU COVERED!!!!! 👑

Have You Prayed about It?
Can you imagine walking into a restaurant and asking if your order is ready? "When did you call it in?" the server asks. "Oh, I didn't," you reply. " I just thought perhaps you might have something with my name on it." That's as ridiculous as expecting God to answer prayer requests you haven't made or haven't made by faith.
The Bible says, " The reason you don't have what you want is... you don't ask God." (Jas 4:Two)
Will God give you everything you ask for? No. "Even when you do ask don't get it because...you want only what will give you pleasure." ( James 4:Three) Your request must be in harmony with God's will. "If we ask anything....according to His will...He hears. 1John 5:Fourteen) Jeremiah said "The Lord is good to those who wait expectantly for Him.( La 3:Twenty-five)
Expectant prayer demonstrates confidence in God's goodness. So instead of fretting or talking about it to everybody but God, or talking matters into your own hands, say "Lord I'm going to trust You with this regardless of the outcome," and He will honor your faith. Paul writes, " Pray and ask God for everything you need, always giving thanks." Do you need a job? Help overcoming a problem? The salvation of loved one? A deeper spiritual walk? Physical or emotional healing? Guidance? Jesus said. " It gives your Father great happiness to give you the [benefits of ] [His] Kingdom" (Luke 12:Thirty)
God wants to be good to you, so tell Him the desires of your heart" (Ps 37:Four) Then thank Him and believe the answer will come-in His time!

The Privilege of 2 Crowns
The process of becoming an heir is establish through your personal relationship with God.
No action is required to become an heir. It is your inheritance, your privilege by faith.
You have been honored with 2 Crowns.
Your 1st crown is the crown of thorns.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:16-Seventeen\
This crown is a reminder to be an example of Christ in your daily life by choosing to Cross Your Heart.
Then Jesus said to his disciples, "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.
Matthew 16:24-Twenty-five
Your 2nd crown is a gold crown.
This crown represent servant hood\ your service to others.
Your humility and influence plays a major part in keeping this crown. This is the crown I refer to when I say adjust or fix your crown. This crown is tilted as a reminder to always remain humble and conscious of your character. Our influence has the power to change others so we have to be mindful of how we use it.
(Pride and arrogance is the #1 way you can lose this crown but through repentance- the changing your mind and forgiveness this crown can be restored).
The 2 crowns are connected 2gether as a reminder to their power and our status to the kingdom of God. We are heirs- chosen ambassadors to advance the kingdom of God and reflect His glory.

Faith is Trusting
Trusting that God will.....
lead you
do what He says
give you what He promised
provide your needs
never leave you nor forsake you
Trusting that God is all you need and that you can depend on Him.
Without faith it is impossible to please Him. For whoever would come never Him must believe that God exists and He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him.

Why Am I Here?
May He grant you according in your heart's desire, and fulfill all your purpose.
Psalm 20:Four
"Why did God put me here?" It's an easy question to ask at times, a very difficult question to answer. As you seek to answer that question, God's purposes will not always be clear to you. Sometimes, you may wander aimlessly in a wilderness of your own making. And sometimes, you may struggle mightily against God in a vain effort to find success and happiness through your own means, not His.
Are you earnestly seeking to discern God's purpose for your life? If so, there pages are intended as a reminder of several important facts:
1. God has a plan for your life
2. If you seek that plan sincerely and prayerfully, you will find it.
3. When you discover God's purpose for your life, you will experience abundance, peace, joy, and power-God's power.
And that's the only kind of power that really matters.
Fear not that thy life shall come to the end, but rather that it shall never have a beginning.

For the record,
I will not be the bible teacher that keeps selling this water version of find a man, build a man, seek a man.
(it's running out)
God brought Eve to Adam not Adam to Eve.
You are not desperate, lonely, and in need.
You are complete, whole, esteemed.
I want to teach you how to seek you 1st and not a relationship. Being in a relationship were you are both loved, respected and honored is great. But I am afraid we have started this broken relationship syndrome (wanting the cuteness of a relationship but not the commitment of one.) were commitment is not even on the table. We have learn how to be great relationship starter but not good relationship keepers. We have a learned behavior of putting a lot effort into building relationship (What we want) but not maintaining them (what we need). We have learned how to build others up and forgot how to build up ourselves. And if we continue to give out love that we do not give ourselves, it will leave us feeling empty and used.
What God has for you is for you. Become so busy with developing yourself that you stumble into your partner on that path. (The best things in life happen unexpected) Develop yourself in such a way that you find someone to match your better you.
Learn how to be whole alone so no one has to come into your life to complete your wholeness.
Be the best you for you, not someone else.
Don't give someone all of the benefits you are not willing to give to yourself.
The Target: Your Mind
Satan questioned God’s word
2 Corinthians 11: Three makes it clear that Satan’s target was Eve’s mind and that his weapon was deception.
By questioning what God said, Satan raised doubts in Eve’s mind concerning the truthfulness of God’s word and the goodness of God’s heart. “Do you really mean that you can’t eat from every tree?” was the import of the subtle question. “If God really loved you, He would be much more generous. He’s holding out on you!” Satan wanted Eve to forget that God had told Adam (who had told her) that they could eat freely of the trees of the garden. For their own good, there was a prohibition: They didn’t dare eat from the forbidden tree in the middle of the garden (Gen. 2:15-17 ).
Eve’s reply showed that she was following Satan’s example and altering the very Word of God. Compare 3:2-3 with 2:16-17 and you’ll see that she omitted the word “freely,” added the phrase “nor shall you touch it” (nkjv), and failed to say that God “commanded” them to obey. Note too that Eve copied the Devil further when she spoke of “God” (Elohim) and not “the Lord [Jehovah] God,” the God of the covenant. Finally, she said “lest you die”–a possibility–instead of “You shall surely die”–an actuality. So, she took from God’s Word, added to God’s Word, and changed God’s Word, which are serious offenses indeed (Deut. 4:Two; 12:Thity-two; Prov. 30:Six; Rev. 22:Nineteen). She was starting to doubt God’s goodness and truthfulness.

Genesis 3: Broken intimacy
In the beginning Adam and Eve had no secrets from each other. They were both naked and ashamed. As a couple, God give them power to rule the world. God give them a promise, a promise that the enemy set his eyes on to attack and steal. What did he chose to attack? Their intimacy with God. He attacked their relationship with God. When the enemy stole Adam and Eve's intimacy Scripture says " Their eyes were opened and they knew each other's nakedness. So they cover themselves (Genesis 3:Seven). They cover the part of themselves that was once intimate. When Adam and Eve lost their intimacy , they hid from God and blamed each other for it. They had broken their intimacy.
The word intimacy means" to be open, transparent and trusting. Intimacy is the most important part of a relationship. It is where you chose to longer hide but share everything about yourself with someone you love and care about. Without intimacy, fear enters. When intimacy is broken, we become afraid of revealing our truths (fears, needs, insecurities, secrets, hopes, dreams, opinions), When fear is present in any relationship it can become complacent, empty, and accessible.
Here are some of the most common fears.
Fear of loneliness\ abandonment: "If someone really got to know me, they will probably loose interest in me and leave.
Fear of I am not enough: I can't fulfill their expectation.
Fear of losing control: Now that you know me, you may use it to control me.
Fear of being love: I've never experienced this kind of love before, This is too good to be true. I don't deserve this.
When fear is present, intimacy is hard to find. When we fear relationships, women become easy to get and men become hard to find.
How do you fix broken intimacy? By replacing fear with love. True intimacy does not have a space were fear can exist, only love can. Love allows your heart to remain open to the flaws and faults of others, while having patience and understanding that they can\ will get better. Even thought, intimacy was broken, God restored it with love. They each had to face the consequences for what they did (Genesis 3:14-Sixteen) but God still covered them (Genesis 3:Twenty-one). And that is still the relationship of intimacy each of us continue to restore this very day.
The 1st intimate relationship we seek is with God.

Blessed on a Payment Plan
When we have doubt and fear it does not remove what He has promise. It just takes longer to receive it.
God is not a man that He shall lie. Numbers 23:Nineteen
When we doubt the promises of God, we hold ourselves up from our blessings. When we think we have to earn the promise. We take our blessings and put them on layaway.
Now for anyone that is not familiar with layaway. Layaway is a payment process used ,sometimes in installments to secure an item(s) for a later purchase. There are times when we have doubts that are bigger than our faith and it shrinks us into thinking we are not worthy of receiving God's best. God has marked paid in full on a promise we are willing to settle for in installments. When we have doubt and fear it does not remove the promise, it just takes us a little longer to receive it . When we think that we have to have an earned performance attitude to be blessed (do something for something) we place limits on God and only receive what we can handle. Earn performance attitudes receive blessings by works instead of by faith. But the Bible instructs us to Ask and you shall receive Matthew 7:Seven, not earn and you shall receive.
God is not waiting on your checklist of earn performance behaviors. He waiting on your faith list.
The great thing about God is that He dares us in Malachi 3:10. He says Put me to the test. God has angels on personal assignment, just for you, waiting to bless you. You don't have to earn in installments what God has given you be grace. Once you believe that the promises from God are Yes and Amen (2 Corinthians 1:Twenty), You will receive all that He has in store for you. You DO NOT have to earn what has already been given to you by inheritance.
When God says no, It's because He has something better in mind.

To Be Faithful is to be Successful
God wants you to succeed in life. And He will give you the tools, strategies and relationships necessary to make it happen. David started out as a shepherd boy but God had plans of making him into a king. The Bible says," In everything he did he had great success, because the Lord was with him. (1 Samuel 18:Fourteen) But God's definition of success is very different from the world's definition.
I am not called to be successful , I am called to be faithful. -Mother Teresa
Some of us are called for the stage while others are called to perform behind the screens. We should not be discourage about our position but we should be concerned about how well we perform. There will be a day where we stand before God and our worldly possessions will not be important. The fact that we were faithful to God and His word will stand as a true testament of His Will over our life.
